Brittany first discovered Pilates mat work as a theatre student at Syracuse. However, it wasn't until that following summer, when she happened upon a ground floor studio in Chicago that it changed her life. Right there, behind the glass store front, were the strangest looking pieces of equipment she had ever seen. Her curiosity peaked, and she wondered in for a closer look. Her training began immediately, as did her love for the Pilates! As a college student (who's parents didn't quite understand her new and sometimes costly addiction) she began a wonderful part time career as a studio receptionist to fund her Pilates training. Upon moving to NYC in 2005, she began studying-and yes, working reception- at re:AB Pilates. She fell in love with the studio, staff, and clients, and chose to certify there, under Brooke Siler. After two years behind the desk scheduling your appointments, she is now thrilled to be teaching them! |
